I thought these would have far more cushioning on the footbed. All shoes seem to be hard just like walking on concrete or blacktop. I wore them for the first time yesterday in the forest. Now looking for CUSHIONING FOR THE BOOT. Great ankle support. But shoes anymore feel like cardboard. Cheap! Iv had worse, these are okay but not what I expected from this brand for sure. Owned this brand before and was thrilled. Verdict is out We will see if I come back
