Nice comfy helmet, i wish chin strap adjustment was easier - Mammut Rock Rider Helmet

while this has been the one and only climbing helmet i've owned so far, i've already taken it on one or two dozen climbing adventures. fortunately i've not had to test it's ability to protect my head from heavy falling objects. ::knock on wood::
i find it's a very comfortable helmet, with a very easy head circumference adjustment. you just reach behind the back of your head and there are two tabs that you can push to tighten/loosen the head strap. i think it's got a fairly nice size range, although i did measure my head beforehand to make sure i got the right size.
the chin strap adjustment on the other hand is not as quick and easy. if i'm the only one wearing the helmet, it's not a big deal. i just set the strap to what's comfortable for me and mostly forget about it. if i'm loaning it out, it's just a small hassle to adjust.
i like the shiny finish of the helmet, and the blue color is a nice shade. some of my other climbing buddies have the black rock half dome helmet, which has a matte finish and seems to show scratches and scraps more readily. the rock rider has a more stylish look (to me) and i'm happy to wear it. certainly pictures look better when climbing without head gear, but i don't mind giving up style for safety.
it vents pretty well. i've had it climbing on some hotter days and while i might be sweating, i don't feel like i'm over-sweating because i'm wearing the helmet.
i'm not much of a night climber, so i don't have any experience with pairing a headlamp to the helmet.
