Manny's Review of Mammut Smart 2.0 Belay Device

First use it’s a bit hard to figure out how to use it but once after a few lead belays it becomes smooth as butter and I honestly fell in love! The assisted breaking seriously puts in work without me having to do anything. Extremely lightweightt and perfect for lead belaying and top rope belaying.

  • Cheap, lightweight and convenient
Cons:
  • Hard to use at first
Best Used for:
  • Lead/top rope
