Most comfortable boot ever worn in over 35 years of serious. Backpacking, BUT, unfortunately after 3 years the rear heel cup stitching where the leather meets the rubber heel cup is coming apart, exposing the inner liner. This is a major stress point, very bad design, the leather ends at the stitch, whereas my new Scarpa's. The leather goes all the way down to the sole, and rubber heal cup covers it and is glued to the leather- expected better quality for $200 plus boot.
