I used this product only briefly as it simply didn't do the job - and for $174 I would have expected much better from Marmot! We had multiple days of rain (off and on) from July 5 to July 12 in the Wyoming Big Horn mountains. Only once during that time did it actually rain hard, the rest of the time it was a mild rain and little wind. When I used the jacket the first time, in the relatively light rains, the water didn't take very long to seep through the jacket material (but not through the zippers, which is where one might expect an issue). I wish I could return the product to Campsavers, but unfortunately, they said I am beyond the 60-day warranty. I bought the product on May 10 and discovered it didn't work very well in the mountains just at the end of the 60-day warranty. CampSaver is simply unwilling to work with me, though I have purchased other products - no problem, just won't purchase from them anymore (plenty of businesses out their to work with and are more willing to work with loyal customers). Marmot simply requests me to send them the product for repair, at my expense -- really! Anybody want a useless rain jacket from Marmot - I would gladly send to you, as long as you pay for shipping.
Notice the review below -- what! It is a rain jacket not a windbreaker -- he rates it 5 stars because it blocks the wind. Notice the plug for CampSaver -- likely Tony works for them.
