Love this marmot jacket! - Marmot Featherless Hoody - Women's

While it’s still summer here now, I love this Marmot jacket, purchased off season for my upcoming relocation back to my home in Colorado. And even though I can’t definably attest to its warmth, from the other reviews it seems like it will be very toasty, and I definitely believe in quality of this brand! I’m 5’8”, 142 lbs and bought the medium in the red/ plum color. It is perfect with a bit of extra room for layering several pieces underneath. What impresses me most about this jacket, and the marmot brand in general, is the feminine styling. The jacket definitely nips in at the waist, defining a lovely hourglass shape-as opposed to the boxy shapes that you see from other brands. The other big plus is that it’s nice and long in the back, keeping most of my bum covered-which will be great when it gets really cold. And finally the last plus is that it is a cruelty free featherless garment. I am now a new fan of marmot, and have shifted my focus away from the ever popular north face brand-which doesn’t do too much to flatter a woman’s figure.
