I am 5'6", 120lb and small boned. I usually wear a 4, 2 or XS-S. I purchased the small, but it was too small. I couldn't zip it up and the armholes were quite tight with a t-shirt on. So I returned the small for a medium. The medium fits snug but just right for my figure. No extra bulk. Sexy and beautiful while functional. Love, love, love this vest! Order at least one size up from what you're use
