This is great lightweight down coat. It is as warm or warmer than my (much heavier) Columbia two layer insulated ski jacket. I've had it in 20 degree weather with pretty solid winds and it keeps the cold out well. The hood is a nice feature and holds heat well.The coat is water resistant but not waterproof. It can be worn with a rain shell overtop if weather is really wet.I am 6'0" 175lbs and L fi
