I bought these based on the fact that the convertible version of them was recommended as "Editor's Pick" on Outdoor Gear Lab's review of women's hiking pants. I'm not so into the convertible thing, so was pleased to see that Marmot had a roll-up version of this pant.
They are very lightweight and durable. Perfect for hiking around in warm or hot weather, but with enough room inside to accommodate a baselayer legging underneath if you're going somewhere colder. The soft fleecy inside of the waistband was comfortable, and I appreciate material with a bit of stretch, so that when you're scrambling over rocks you don't feel like they're going to suddenly rip open. Pockets are normal sized (sometimes I find that on women's pants that pockets can be absurdly small to the point that you can't reasonably put anything in them for fear it'll fall out).
They seemed moderately water and wrinkle resistant, which is always helpful. I liked the subtle detail of the small colorful stripe on the inside, visible on the cuff if you roll them up. I think the colors of the stripes differ, wish they showed them all, so maybe google around so you know what you'll be getting if you order a color other than "dark steel".
