Good review - Marmot Mantis Plus Tent - 3 Person

I just used my tent. It took a little while to set up, but overall it was really easy. There were instructions attached to the tent bag and images on the tent bag for the different ways it can be set up. It was an interesting set up - easy, but did not feel so secure. I was used to the tents having more stability. Also, there is no rain fly and from the photos I thought there was one. This is a disappointment because I will need protection from the rain. Instead I'll need to use a tarp. The room inside the tent was amazing! This is why I bought it - for more space and to be able to stand up. I did not use the wind break, shade or awning feature so it just kept the door open with the screen zipped up and it was fine since the weather was mild. I had a hard time rolling up the door and attaching it to the tent - it was bulky. The tear down of the tent was nice and easy. Everything fit. nicely into the bag. My last tent lasted more than 10 years so I hope that this one holds up.
