Lightweight.
Easily transportable. Roll it up and slide it into the backpack or pants pocket.
Conveniently adjustable size with the *external* elastic pull. My other brand rain hat has internal hook & loop straps.
Sufficiently but not overly wide-brimmed.
Quick-drying by merely shaking the excess water off and hanging for a while.
Even as buckets of rain poured down on its inaugural trip, my head and my glasses stayed dry. It was a good purchase.
