We used this bag on a low profile queen air mattress in a 4 person tent (with a dog). It is rated to 30 degrees, I wish there was a similar version available with a little more fill, closer to 20 degrees would be great. We used our bag for the first time in some chilly and damp early Spring PNW weather including West Idaho and East Oregon with lows ranging around 35 degrees and stayed warm all night. Since this is essentially designed for car camping it would be nice if it felt just a bit more lux and fluffy. I am 6’5” and wear size 14 shoes and I had no problem keeping the bag up to my chin. I would have bought a tall or long version but I am not sure that is an option with this bag. The soft lining in the upper area is a really nice touch. I prefer this boxy design over a few double wide bags that taper more like a mummy bag. Well made bag and a nice color too. It is also great that you are able to zip apart bags and convert to single bags. In theory backpackers could separate the two bags to distribute the weight and size. Hope this helps!
