MrMojo's Review of Marmot Parsons Peak Hoody - Mens
Tried it on at a nearby STP store.
The XL size fits true to sizes, relatively snug on top but roomy enough to wear a light/midweigth fleece and shirt underneath.
The bottom is relatively loose but acceptable. The hood and body has the sherpa like lining but Not the sleeves which is unlined and is the fabric of the jacket itself.
Feels like a regular fullzip hoody sweatshirt but with some sherpa lining for warm in the torso and head but your arms may be cold in colder weather. Fabric doesn't appear to be dense to block out the wind, similar to most sweatshirts which do Not!
It's relatively heavy because of the lining but still a good sweatshirt if you've never owned a sherpa lined version.
Not many clothing makers make sherpa lining in the sleeves but some do but are hard to find.
The sweatshirt isn't anything special and does look nice but is Pricey as you're basically buying the brand name, Marmot.
Pros:
Good fit
Looks nice
Cons:
pricey
Not enough colors
No lining in sleeves
Best Used for:
Casual
Would Recommend:
No
