Marmot makes amazing clothes. I own three flannel shirts and the Edgewood pants, all of which I love. I bought the Ridgewood Insulated Pant to have something with a bit more warmth. I love the look and feel of the pants on the outside and the inside, very smooth and soft to the touch. I also love Marmot's pant sizing, because I am a 33 waist and many manufacturers do not have a lot of variety in 33, but the Marmot 32 fits me comfortably (others complain that Marmot sizing is bigger, so I agree). The only downside is that I knew how many grams of insulation there were in the pants, but they are closer to snow pants than normal pants (say flannel lined pants for example) in terms of the thickness of the insulation. So for me this is a bit of a downside, because I did not want quite that much insulation.
