Very well designed for summer and three season mountaineering with lighter weight soft shell fabric, great freedom of movement. Comfortable stretchy material with solid DWR finish that repels water. The waist is perfect and works with a harness, front pockets positioned to fit below the waist belt (at least with my harness)- somebody thought it all out. Little zipper garages for the zipper handles so not to catch on things. Great purchase. Marmot should put thigh and rear pockets on the left side too.
