I bought this before a week long ski trip to Utah. The 2012 ski season has been unseasonably warm, and I needed a light shell. I am 170 lbs and 5'9" and a medium fits well and allows a couple of layers easily. This jacket is lined but has no insulation. I wore it in early morning 35 degree temps with a base layer, then later in the ay in 40's. The pit zips work well, It is an attractive jacket. It
