Great portable space - Monkey Mat

I am happy with this mat. There are some places I like to go backpacking that are dusty and have that dirt that sticks to everything. I thought, how can I keep my gear somewhat clean on my excursions and this mat is perfect. As soon as I get to my camp spot the first thing I take out is the monkey mat. This allows me and my girlfriend to put down our backpacks on the mat. As we pull our stuff out of our packs we place them on this mat. It's greta and keep everything off the dirt. It gives us a place that helps facilitate our set up and break down, and also a place to use for anything even sitting on while we camp.

The material is just like the parachute material used on the Eno hammocks. With that said it is thin, but that's what I was looking for. Something that stuffs into its own little sack, just as a hammock does. Although, it is light, it still adds some weight and that might be the breaking point for some.

Even though this 5x5 size is super useful, I feel that a smaller available option of 3x3 would be even better for those looking to use this in a backpacking scenario.
