I own a pair of these in the non zip off and love them..I wanted the zip off version of warmer weather backpacking trips..the zip offs are awesome very durable and stretchy...you can't go wrong with montane clothing..there sizing runs a little small in these..I wear a 32 waist and the large size fits me well
