These shoes are the best fitting (narrow, flat feet) trail runners I have owned to date and this is my second pair. I have flat feet, pronate, and find the support to be very good for trail running and LIGHT hiking. The water proofing works great and this version of the masochist is a very functional year round shoe. The reflective stripes fore and aft are a nice touch too for night running or eve
