This is an incredible durable fleece. The Thermal Pro fleece is an amazingly durable, it doesn't pill, and water sheds right off. In a light drizzle or light snow it's just fine and there's no need to put a shell on. Once the Litmus is layered under a shell or softshell it's an incredibly warm. It's also a great everyday piece as well as I technical piece when I'm in the backcountry.
