ME's Review of Mountain Hardwear Chockstone 2 Pant - Women's
Mountain Hardwear Chockstone 2 Pant is my first pair from this brand, and pleased with the purchase. I usually want to try them on before buying them because of my figure, but I took a chance and glad I did.
Most pants are too wide/roomy in the hip area and look funny to wear, but this one is not too wide look; giving me generous room for items to stuff in the pocket. The zipper will secure the item to stay in the pocket; no more bend down or squat down will lose item slip out the pocket. Stretchy fabric! Even though I have plenty of room at every angle, stretchy fabric is comfortable moving around. The crotch area's design may be contributing to extra comfortable wear. I like the belt is included and how it's covered to accommodate the tighten the belt.
So far, I wore the pants for yard work and have not worn them for hiking or other activity yet. I got soaked from messing around with the garden hose but dried quickly; having elastic to close/tighten the hem area helps work like gators.
