I've not yet taken these on the slopes, but in the five or six times I've worn them so far, about 3 days were blustery days w/ temps in the mid 30s to mid 40s, with strong winds. In these conditions, my hands were very comfortable...even got a bit warm at times. The wrist cinch really does lock in heat. The lining is luxuriously comfortable and the leather breaks in after a short number of uses and is VERT comfortable. They run a TAD small. I can typically wear either L or XL in gloves. My hands measure just over 8 inches long and around 9 around. I bought the XL and they fit well, especially after wearing in a little. Really a very cool looking glove that are well made, with top-notch materials. Mountain Hardwear is an outdoor gear superstar that makes awesome stuff and this is their top glove! I can't wait to see if there as waterproof as billed.
