I set up tent at Camp Muir (basecamp, 10k ft) @ Mt. Rainier and used footprint. Since the ground is very hard and icy, it's nice to have one sheet under the tent, such that tent bottom is clean and not damaged over the years.
This review was written in the old system and had content requirements that are different than reviews written today.
