I have this jacket for 3 weeks and have been snowshoeing with it, and temps have been in the minus -8c to -16c range. I wore a long sleeve merino shirt underneath and the jacket was very warm. On a milder day around -2c we were working hard going up some hills and sweating, this jacket removed all of the moisture from the inside. It is very easy to convert, zip it all the way up pull the hood down
