I bought this for a river trip in Bolivia where temps will approach the bag's lower limit at the top and then become quite warm near the bottom at trip's end. This package is very small which I needed to cut down my gear pack, and is light as well. The construction provides complete coverage by insulation, so no cold spots. I bought the longer bag even though I am under 6' because I can stretch out in it without feeling cramped. Price was right!
