Gotta say that Mountain Hardwear thinks of everything with their outdoor gear. These pants are no different. These pants have 3 fastening mechanisms to prevent failure while on the trail. The first of which is the every traditional zipper. There is also a set of two vertical snaps and lastly a fastening belt. Now the quality of this belt is awesome.
