I bought this pack primarily for climbing, but I've ended up using it for anything. 40 liters is the perfect capacity for any day or overnight trip, and the pack is compartmentalized, so you'll be comfortable whether it's only half full or filled to the brim. The side zippers allow the pack to open completely, and the built-in rope tarp helps keeps your gear clean. The quality of materials and construction easily justifies the listing price, and I plan on using this pack for decades to come.
