Mountain Hardwear Sprite 1 Tent - 1 Person, 3 Season
I got this tent in 2004 when it was called the 'PCT', a very good tent. I am still using mine.
Over approximately 250 bag nights over 8 years, never a leak, no blown downs, no rips, no tears, just perfect performance.
I have had it set up in drenching downpours (3 hours) a light snow, high winds (30-40 mph gusts)in the desert and the mountains. It is a perfect tent for me at 5'8" 150 lbs.

Had this tent for my 2012-2014 section hikes on the Appalachian Trail and have to say that this tent is the bomb. Never had any problems with it and got a lot of complements on it. Light weight and can pack it very small. I just put the poles in another side pocket. All in all it was the best tent i purchased though i had given to my friend who ended up catching it on fire a few weeks after i got back from the A.T. Long story, stupid mistake to even lend it out. But i didn't purchase online i actually bought it at the Outdoor76 store located in NC. Will be purchasing it again for my 2016 AT Thru-Hike...

Have not used tent yet, but set-up and construction show it to be well made. Packs up small and resonably light for a tent. Great purchase with a free footprint.

Tent performs well. However the poles are defective - the inserts easily break. Rear pole broke after 11 uses. Sent tent home and bought a Hubba on the Gorham, NH in order to continue on the AT trail. Met someone that had the same problem. He returned a 2008 Sprite 1 for a 2009 Sprite 1. Front pole broke on one and the rear on the other. Sprite 1 is not a reliable tent. I need to return the one I

I used this tent camping around Kenya. I like the extra wedge space on the inside where I can place my backpack out of the way with easy access to it. The fly seems durable and tightens tight like a drum, however it didn't rain while I used this tent so I can't comment on how weatherproof the fly is. The fly forms a small vestibule to cover your boots with extra room. I estimate the weight of
