Cuter on the hanger - Mountain Hardwear Trekkin Insulated Mini Skirt - Women's

I am keeping this for two reasons: it is final sale, and I think I can fix ita issues, and it was a good deal. But the shape and cut is awkward and if I could return it I would. The waist is small. It barely fit over my hips/butt (and my hips and butt are not where I store any extra lbs), but from the waist down it's like an enormous bell. This would be appropriate if a girl had a larger thigh/hip region, but then again those people would NEVER be able to pull the skirt up through the narrow waist in the first place. And this design flaw is why I suspect it was on clearance. Color is great and I will get my sewing machine and pull the skirt in on either side (I have nothing to loose trying). If my plan works it'll be great, but I can't imagine this working for anyone without alterations. Reference: 5'2", 130.
