Pretty good stew - Mountain House Chicken Stew - Bulk

I like this Chicken Stew except for one thing. It really takes a long time for the chicken to re-hydrate and become soft. I cook in an insulated cup, so maybe it would do better if you brought it to a boil and actually cooked it a bit. I don't like to carry that much fuel myself. But maybe for base camp cooking or car camping it would work better.
