Awesome backpack - Mountainsmith Mayhem 45 L Backpack

I have some of the Mountainsmith's other gear (day lumbarpack) and I loved it so I decided to give this a try. I've used the pack for everything from weekend backpacking trips to a two week Oregon road trip and I love it! the bag has a massive main compartment with an extended side zipper for access to stuff towards the bottom. The stuff pocket on the front can hold a surprising amount. The strap/hip belt/back panel are super comfortable and don't create raw spots. Compression straps on the side keep the load from shifting around and close to your body which is great.
