GEARvs's Review of MSR FreeLite 2-Person Ultralight Backpacking Tent
Only used this 1 night so far but it worked very well. Only needs 6 stakes to setup unless you want to add on more guy lines (included). Wish the fly and body were color coded where to attach to make setup a little easier. Color actually is pretty good now with it mostly coyote brown and a little darker red. I had been using a REI Quarter Dome SL 2. That is a great tent but wanted a little wider and the rectangular floor. Ultimately it seems a tiny bit wider, it is shorter though too. In theory two 25” wide pads should fit but a 20” and a 25” seemed tight but just work. Slightly better than in my REI tent. Would be 5 stars if a couple inches wider and longer (basically match the specs which seems slightly off).
