I origanally purchased the MIOX Water Purifier because the advertisements made it look compact and easy to use. I did the research and was quite happy with the comparison to alternate products on the market. I had to purchase on-line from the USA because I live in Tasmania, a small island state of Australia and couldn't buy it locally.
