After many pairs of the original muck rubber garden shoes, I bought these for my husband who needed extra traction and soles that would stand up to his wear. The original shoes had lightly treaded soles that would always have holes at the end of the year, but these are far more weighty but not heavy. He is wearing them everyday and now I can throw all the "holy" pairs out!!!!!!
