Mike's Review of Mystery Ranch Terraframe 65 Backpack
This is the first bag I've owned. While it's definitely on the heavy side, it's extremely comfortable and can easily handle 45 lbs like it's nothing. The variety of straps and the overload feature mean that you can carry almost anything on . The construction quality It's top-notch and I can see this lasting many years to come. A couple of minor complaints; if you don't have it fully packed, the back of the frame can sit uncomfortable close to the back of your neck, and can end up hitting it when you're ascending or looking up. This is only been an issue when I'm doing conditioning hikes, and have the bag packed with weight but not a lot of stuff. I'm also not a huge fan of the torpedo pockets, I would prefer four smaller pockets with more conventional top zippers, but it's not a big deal.
Pros:
Comfortable
Sturdy
Well built
Cons:
Heavy
Expensive
