This pentagonal tarp tent is simply great and is probably the best value pyramid style tent to be had out there right now. The marketing info and reviews are limited in this tent so some more info: It comes with collapsible and adjustable aluminum pole. 2) If you use a hiking stick or trekking pole instead of the provided pole, you shave 9.7 ounces off the weight. My wooden hiking stick is the exact length (about 58-59") so I don't need the pole. Rainfly and the stuff sack for it weighs 19.53 ounces (1 lb 3.53 ounces) making it the lightest weight tarp tent I've found out there anywhere. Lightweight aluminum stakes that come with are very high quality and weigh 3.36 oz. with stuff sack. Seams are all factory sealed. Super easy to set up and takes literally about 60 seconds. Lots of floor area. It is palatial for 1 and gear. It is good sized for 2 and 2 sets of backpacking gear. It is going to be tight for 3 though so I would really consider this a 2 person tent or 3 if you are ok being cramped. Issue is despite the large floor area, walls get very low around outer edges but you could fit 3 ok if need be...just would be tight for 3 if stuck in there for an entire day. But if you buy it for a good sized 2 person ultralightweight tent you will be very very happy! One thing not featured in any pictures is that the zipper storm flap at the top of the tent is oversized. There is a built in little rigid piece that can be open and shut to make for a vent at the top of the zipper since there are 2 zippers on the entry so this is a great feature. One negative is that I wish it had additional tie out loops mid-span at bottom edge of the tent on each side. But- have had the tent in 20 degree temps in a 2" ice and snow storm and it held up great. Had some frosty condensation in the morning on inside walls but not too bad. Overall- heck of a great value and a great ultralight tarptent at a great price. I am shocked that it is not getting more reviews and endorsements from the ultralight backpacking crowd- it is the lightest to be found on the market anywhere.
