Started out with the non insulated cosmo first, it was sooo comfortable and packed reasonable small. But it did transfer the cold from the ground so, after careful consideration due to price I finally splurged and purchased this great insulated pad. I have owned many pads including therma rest and did not find them to be as comfortable to sleep on, this pad is wider, quieter and warmer. It does no
