Received these as a gift from my daughters. I am an early morning runner and several months during the year, I run before dawn. Part of my route involves a fairly busy roadway without sidewalks. While wearing the shoe lights EVERY TIME a car approaches from either direction, the driver slows down and moves to the opposite lane. Excellent for improving your visibility on dark country roads. Lights hold a charge for a few months and being able to recharge them is a great feature, no need for batteries.
