Carmen's Review of Nobis Merideth Parka - Women's
This coat is attractive and very, very warm. I especially like the wire frame in the hood, which keeps the wind from blowing it off -- a must for windy Boston winters. Other benefits include: a removable fleece inner hood for especially cold days, hand-warmer pockets as well as deep storage pockets, and a length that extends to the lower thigh. (I'm about 5'8" tall.) It does run on the snug side compared with some other coats in the category/price range. I usually wear a size 10, and the size Large fits well.
Pros:
- wire hood, very warm
Cons:
- The zipper is a little stiff, and the coat is expensive. (But it's a much better deal on Campsaver than on other sites.)
Best Used for:
- windy winters at the bus stop
