Not so impressed - simplicity jacket - NW Alpine Simplicity Jacket - Men's

I live in a rainy place. So I needed a semi-waterproof jacket that I could stash away when I'm not wearing it, something light and easy on, easy off. I thought I'd found it in the Simplicity jacket.. But....First time I wore it I found the entire side seam was coming undone. It just started raveling and so I emailed NW Alpine and asked if they could replace the jacket, or refund my money. I heard nothing back. So I sent a second email; same thing- no reply. I'm no expert on this topic, but my GF is. And after she took a look at the jacket she seem less than impressed with the quality. I refuse to spend $100+ on a jacket that falls apart after wearing for an hour! For the money, and the quality, forget it.. Really disappointed!
