Sue's Review of Oboz Bridger 7 Insulated BDry Hiking Boot - Women's

While I am giving these boots five stars, that doesn't mean they are for everyone. I find them very comfortable, with a roomy toe box, narrower heel, and decent arch support even with out my orthotic. I wore them on some shorter forest walks (about 3 miles) a number of times before I wore them on an actual hike, i didn't have any hot spots or problem areas. The first real hike was on a cold day starting out about 10 degrees and topping out at about 20 degrees. My feet were toasty all day with thin (toed) sock liners and wool socks. I struggle with Achilles tendonitis, so bought the 7' version and wear gaiters. Overall a great boot, I don't know much about Oboz, so we'll see it they hold up over time.
Pros:
  • Roomy toe box, good support, warm
Cons:
  • None
Best Used for:
  • All types of cold weather hiking
