These are excellent boots. I tried various brands and decided to go with these and I could not be more happy. I spent a week in the mountains light hiking and these boots took everything I gave them. I did treat the boots with mink oil prior to use so they handled water very well. They offered a great deal of support which says a lot considering I have very high arches. I would not hesitate to wear these boot in all but heavy backpacking outings. Get these boots. You won't be disappointed.
