Unsatisfied customer - Orca SILO 64 oz Growler

The lid will not seal properly. In Iowa once a vessel is filled at an establishment you either have to consume beverage their or have beverage in an air sealed tight container. Otherwise you are in violation of the "open container" law while vessel is being transported in your vehicle. My local pub would not allow me to leave premises because they could not obtain proper sealing.
I've only had unit filled once since receive as a Christmas present. The plastic seal in the lid appears to be the problem. And when you apply extra turns on the cap to try an enable a tight bond, the lid just slips. When Growler is turned upside down to check for leaks, it leaks every time regardless of type fluid put into it, beer, water or juice. I even purchase an "O" ring today, thinking that might seal the lid, no such luck, it still leaked.
I'm at wits end. It is a nice size unit with nice handle for carrying, but needs to have the leak situation, issue, corrected.
