I bought these pants for hiking, but before I got out to the woods, I wore them to play golf—great decision! Their mobility and style were a perfect combination on the course! Then, I wore them hiking—even better! I typically wear shorts, even when cold, because I heat up too much. I wore these pants continuously—perfect temperature control, excellent mobility as well as water and wind resistant. Highly recommend. Some don’t like the thigh pocket, but, it didn’t bother me and was highly functional.
