I was looking for a jacket I could rely on while hiking/backpacking, could compress down tightly to take on weekend international travel, AND could wear while going out in urban environments and still look somewhat fashionable. The Helium HD fulfills all 3 of my requirements. Notably, it also has the slimmest fitting cut I could find, which was very important to me. Great jacket!
