I don't usually write reviews but I really love this coat. I was somewhat skeptical opting for anything other than GORTEX but the PERTEX is surprisingly waterproof. I live in Portland, OR and have had ample opportunity to test this coat out in some pretty wet conditions. I walked 80 blocks in the rain the other day and stayed totally dry.
