Great purchase but half size up would be better

i have purchased these boots for my europe trip this christmas, they are amazingly warm and definitely water proof, I love the way they feel, and my feet haven't gotten tired so far. The only recommendation, get half size up! I should have bought those maybe half size bigger. I'm a true 9, and 9.5 would have given me the extra room for thicker socks. Otherwise very toasty and cosy. They look great, my sister felt in love with these too. That's a shame patagonia no longer makes shoes.
