This is a very warm jacket. 200g primaloft in a windstopper shell. This is a jacket designed for nasty cold windy conditions. And I can attest to that. It's warm! Very warm! At least the body of the jacket is. The hood, however, is a bit of a disaster. I think they designed it for enhanced peripheral vision.
