Snug as a bug in a parka! - Patagonia Downtown Parka - Women's

I searched for a coat to protect my legs on my walk from the train to the office in the cold Chicago winter. The parka is perfect! Fits well even with a sweater underneath. Slightly longer in the back at the hem and tapered at the waist so it doesn't look like you're wearing a giant quilt. Hood is smartly hidden with a small zipper and snap so you can have a collar or a hood. Inside pocket on upper left side to hide your phone/iPod and still have earbuds in. The sleeves are even slightly tapered at the opening to protect your hands. Material is more matte and satin than the Patagonia Sweater Hoody. I was a little nervous that it would be too bulky and I wouldn't like the zip hood. Glad I gave this Patagonia a chance. Caught a deal at Camp Saver and saved over $70 and got free shipping. Easiest purchase possible. I'm embarrassed to say that I can't wait for the subzero temps to arrive just so I can wear my new coat.
