Ok...I tried 2 sizes- same issue : this shirt is constructed into an hourglass shape that does not fit a body with a real-life waistline. After using my seam-ripper to get rid of those pesky darts in the back, the shirt fit great! It's nice to be able to layer with a flannel shirt - I don't know why Patagonia feels it is necessary to make this shirt so fitted . I won't buy another another, though the flannel is high quality- very soft. If it hadn't been on sale I wouldn't have gone to the trouble.
